A commission for a nice lady that volunteers with me at the animal shelter.

Watercolour & ink on a book page.

*Edit: WOWEE, thanks for the DD! I was thrilled to check my messages and see so many responses.. I really did not expect this. Thank you everyone.

Two cats by ~JasmineJean is a wonderfully stylized piece illustrated on a book page, showing that no matter where you choose to paint you can still achieve great results. ( Suggested by ~Chunkybeefpainting and Featured by ^Astralseed )

Really like this- I love how it's on the printed page. Wonderful texture and it reminds me a little of the wonderful illustrative work in the phantom tollbooth Book-but with more fill and shading. its wonderful.

This is what initially drew me to your page, actually. I *really* love the style of the cats with their beautifully elongated forms. It's a very engaging piece.

And my jaw just dropped...
Those are the only words of praise I can think of right now. Apparently, originality turns me dumb :p
